Courage is like a muscle. We strengthen it with use.

“Silences make the real conversations between friends.”

“A friend will joyfully sing with you when you are on the mountain top, and silently walk beside you through the valley.”

“The best relationships are the ones you didn’t expect to be in; the ones you never saw coming.”

no regrets

Spent an evening discussing life, love, sex, Glee, writing, reading, school, countries, pasts, dreams, not settling, Florida, Australia (and food…of course) and everything in between today. With cheap wine, amazing room service pizza and annoyingly spotty wi-fi.

Probably in the top 5 nights this year.

Glad I was deemed not a stalker :)

Hate it when this happens.

“It is more noble to give yourself completely to one individual than to labor diligently for the salvation of the masses.”

—   Dag Hammarskjold, past Secretary General for the UN

“Passion is the quickest to develop, and the quickest to fade. Intimacy develops more slowly, and commitment more gradually still.”

—   Robert Sternberg

“What should young people do with their lives today? Many things, obviously. But the most daring thing is to create stable communities in which the terrible disease of loneliness can be cured.”

Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.  (American Writer, b.1922)
